achievements:In order to maintain the continuity of cooperative department's continuity for development and sustainability of the cooperatives, the District Co-operative Office, Kushtia have been able to achieve significant success in the last three years in preparation for the foundation of future challenges. With the innovative efforts of the officials, it has been able to make cooperatives into a mass public organization and to develop quality oriented and service-oriented co-operatives across the country, adopt cooperative entrepreneurial strategies, and cooperative production and marketing. In the last three years, a total of 465 new cooperative societies have been formed and 13073 new members have been nominated. 1504 in 2017-18, 1621 in 2018-19 and 627 co-operative societies association in 2019-20 has been completed. 2225 co-workers have been given training on demand based training through mobile training. A loan of 2.70 lakhs was given to 22 coordinators through 'Family Development The project ',' Family Welfare Project 'has provided loans to 22 associates with a loan of 2.70 lakh. Self-employment arrangements have been made for 1004 people through need based training and loans. Apart from 'Vision 2041', 'SDG', and the development of the 7th Five Year Plan, the development project adopted by the Cooperative Department is being implemented. Besides, under the Asrayan project in the last 03 years (cumulative) a loan of Tk. 13.40 lakh has been disbursed andFrom the Asrayan Phase-II project (cumulative), Tk. 13.60 lakh was distributed and Tk. 12.7 lakh was collected.
